Classic Cheeseburger

Juicy beef chuck patty grilled medium-rare, topped with melting American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and special sauce.

Ingredients

  • ground beef chuck (80/20 mix)
  • brioche burger buns
  • American cheese slices
  • lettuce leaves
  • tomato slices
  • dill pickles
  • mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. 1Form beef chuck into patties, making them slightly wider than the buns. Dimple the center.
  2. 2Sear in a hot cast-iron skillet for 3 minutes. Flip, place a cheese slice on top, cover the pan, and cook for 2 minutes to melt the cheese.
  3. 3Toast brioche buns in butter.
  4. 4Spread special sauce on the bottom bun, add pickles, lettuce, tomato, cheese-topped patty, and top bun. Serve hot.
