Warm Apple Pie
Classic double-crust pie filled with sliced apples spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar, baked golden brown.

- •Granny Smith apples peeled and sliced
- •brown sugar
- •ground cinnamon
- •ground nutmeg
- •lemon juice
- •butter
- •egg wash
Instructions
- 1Toss apple slices with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, flour, and lemon juice.
- 2Line a pie plate with the bottom crust and fill with the apple mixture. Dot with butter.
- 3Cover with the top crust, crimp edges, cut vents, and brush with egg wash.
- 4Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 50 minutes until the crust is golden and the filling bubbles.
