Tteokbokki (Spicy Rice Cakes)
Chewy cylinder rice cakes cooked in a sweet and fiery gochujang chili sauce.

- •gochujang (chili paste)
- •gochugaru (chili flakes)
- •fish cakes sliced
- •dashi or anchovy stock
- •sugar
- •green onions
Instructions
- 1Bring dashi stock to a boil, then stir in gochujang, gochugaru, and sugar.
- 2Add rice cakes and sliced fish cakes to the simmering sauce.
- 3Cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring constantly, until rice cakes are soft and sauce is thick.
- 4Stir in chopped green onions and serve hot.
