Szechuan Mapo Tofu
Cubes of soft silken tofu and ground pork simmered in a spicy, numbing Szechuan bean paste sauce.

- •silken tofu cubed
- •ground pork
- •doubanjiang (spicy bean paste)
- •szechuan peppercorns ground
- •garlic minced
- •ginger minced
- •chicken broth
- •cornstarch
Instructions
- 1Sauté pork, garlic, and ginger in oil, then stir in doubanjiang.
- 2Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 5 minutes.
- 3Gently fold in tofu cubes and cook for 3 minutes.
- 4Thicken with cornstarch slurry, sprinkle with Szechuan pepper, and serve.
