Minced lamb cooked in a rich gravy with peas and carrots, topped with toasted mashed potatoes.

Ingredients

  • ground lamb
  • onion and garlic chopped
  • peas and carrots
  • beef broth
  • tomato paste
  • potatoes mashed
  • butter
  • milk

Instructions

  1. 1Sauté ground lamb with onion and garlic, stir in tomato paste, carrots, peas, and beef broth; simmer.
  2. 2Prepare smooth mashed potatoes with butter, milk, and salt.
  3. 3Spread the lamb mixture at the bottom of a baking dish.
  4. 4Spread mashed potatoes over the lamb, fluffing with a fork.
  5. 5Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes until potatoes are golden and bubbling.
