Shaking Beef (Bo Luc Lac)
Tender beef cubes wok-seared with soy sauce, garlic, and butter, served over watercress.

- •beef tenderloin cubed
- •garlic minced
- •soy sauce
- •oyster sauce
- •butter
- •red onion sliced
- •watercress or lettuce
Instructions
- 1Marinate beef cubes in garlic, soy sauce, and oyster sauce for 15 minutes.
- 2Heat oil in a wok until smoking hot.
- 3Add beef in a single layer and sear without moving for 2 minutes, then shake wok to cook all sides.
- 4Stir in red onion slices and a dollop of butter. Toss for 1 minute.
- 5Serve hot over a bed of fresh watercress.
