  • butter cold
  • sugar
  • milk
  • clotted cream
  • strawberry jam

Instructions

  1. 1Rub cold butter into flour and sugar until it resembles breadcrumbs.
  2. 2Stir in milk to form a soft dough. Roll out to 1-inch thickness.
  3. 3Cut into rounds and place on a baking sheet.
  4. 4Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 10-12 minutes until risen and golden.
  5. 5Serve warm split in half, topped with clotted cream and strawberry jam.
