Prosciutto & Melon Skewers

A refined pairing of sweet cantaloupe spheres wrapped in thinly sliced salty Prosciutto di Parma, garnished with fresh mint.

Ingredients

  • ripe cantaloupe melon
  • Prosciutto di Parma thinly sliced
  • fresh mini mozzarella balls (bocconcini)
  • fresh mint or basil leaves
  • balsamic glaze reduction
  • skewers

Instructions

  1. 1Using a melon baller, scoop spheres out of a ripe cantaloupe.
  2. 2Slice prosciutto strips in half lengthwise and fold them ribbon-like.
  3. 3Thread a mint leaf, a prosciutto ribbon, a mozzarella ball, and a melon sphere onto each skewer.
  4. 4Arrange on a clean serving board.
  5. 5Drizzle with a high-quality balsamic glaze reduction and serve chilled.
