Potato Pancakes (Kartoffelpuffer)
Crispy shallow-fried grated potato pancakes served with applesauce.

- •all-purpose flour
- •applesauce for serving
- •frying oil
Instructions
- 1Grate potatoes and squeeze in a towel to remove all starch water.
- 2Mix grated potato, onion, egg, flour, salt, and pepper.
- 3Heat oil in a skillet, drop spoonfuls of potato mix, and flatten.
- 4Fry for 4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Serve hot with applesauce.
