Pan con Tomate

Artisanal crusty bread toasted and rubbed with garlic and fresh tomato pulp, finished with olive oil.

Ingredients

Provided

  • crusty bread slices
  • ripe tomatoes
  • garlic clove
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • sea salt

Instructions

  1. 1Toast or grill bread slices until golden brown.
  2. 2Rub each slice of bread with a cut garlic clove.
  3. 3Grate ripe tomatoes on a box grater to get the pulp, leaving skin behind.
  4. 4Spoon tomato pulp over the toasted bread.
  5. 5Drizzle generously with extra virgin olive oil and season with sea salt.
