Paella Valenciana

Traditional saffron rice dish cooked with chicken, rabbit, green beans, and rosemary.

Ingredients

  • bomba rice
  • chicken pieces
  • green beans
  • tomato grated
  • saffron threads
  • chicken stock
  • rosemary sprig
  • olive oil

Instructions

  1. 1Sauté chicken and green beans in a flat paella pan with olive oil until browned.
  2. 2Add grated tomato and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. 3Pour in hot chicken stock and add saffron threads; bring to a boil.
  4. 4Sprinkle Bomba rice evenly over the pan. Cook on high for 10 minutes.
  5. 5Reduce heat to low, add a rosemary sprig, and cook for 10 minutes without stirring to form a crust on bottom (socarrat).
