Mango Sticky Rice

Sweet glutinous rice steamed with coconut milk, served with fresh sweet mango slices.

Ingredients

  • glutinous rice soaked
  • coconut milk
  • palm sugar
  • ripe mangoes sliced
  • salted toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. 1Steam glutinous rice for 20 minutes until tender.
  2. 2Simmer coconut milk, palm sugar, and a pinch of salt until sugar dissolves.
  3. 3Pour half the warm coconut mixture over the cooked rice, cover, and let sit for 20 minutes.
  4. 4Serve sweet rice topped with fresh mango slices, drizzled with remaining coconut sauce, and sprinkled with sesame seeds.
