Mahalabia (Milk Pudding)

Milk and cream pudding sweetened with rose water, topped with crushed pistachios.

Ingredients

  • whole milk
  • heavy cream
  • sugar
  • cornstarch
  • rose water
  • pistachios crushed

Instructions

  1. 1Whisk milk, cream, sugar, and cornstarch in a pot over medium heat.
  2. 2Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture boils and thickens.
  3. 3Stir in rose water and remove from heat.
  4. 4Pour into serving cups, chill for 4 hours, and garnish with crushed pistachios.
