Lebanese Baklava
Crispy phyllo dough diamonds filled with cashews and soaked in orange blossom syrup.

- •phyllo pastry sheets
- •cashews chopped
- •clarified butter melted
- •sugar
- •orange blossom water
- •water
Instructions
- 1Boil sugar, water, and orange blossom water to make syrup; cool.
- 2Layer buttered phyllo sheets, cashew layers, and top with more buttered phyllo sheets.
- 3Cut into diamonds and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
- 4Pour cold syrup over the hot baklava immediately after baking.
