Kung Pao Chicken

A spicy stir-fry dish made with chicken, peanuts, vegetables, and chili peppers.

Ingredients

Provided

  • chicken breast cubed
  • peanuts toasted
  • bell peppers chunked
  • dried red chilies
  • soy sauce
  • szechuan peppercorns
  • hoisin sauce
  • garlic and ginger

Instructions

  1. 1Marinate chicken in soy sauce and cornstarch for 10 minutes.
  2. 2Sauté dried chilies and Szechuan peppercorns in oil until aromatic.
  3. 3Add chicken and stir-fry until white, then add garlic, ginger, and peppers.
  4. 4Stir in hoisin sauce and soy sauce. Simmer for 3 minutes.
  5. 5Fold in toasted peanuts and serve hot.
