Korean Fried Chicken

Crispy, double-fried chicken wings glazed in a sweet, sticky, and spicy garlic-chili glaze.

  • chicken wings split
  • potato starch
  • gochujang
  • soy sauce
  • honey
  • garlic minced
  • ginger minced
  • frying oil

Instructions

  1. 1Dredge chicken wings in potato starch until coated.
  2. 2Deep fry in hot oil (340°F/170°C) for 8 minutes, then remove and drain.
  3. 3Make glaze: simmer gochujang, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger until bubbling.
  4. 4Deep fry chicken wings a second time at 375°F (190°C) for 2 minutes until extra crispy.
  5. 5Toss the hot wings in the glaze until fully coated.
