Gnocchi alla Sorrentina
Soft potato gnocchi baked in a rich tomato sauce with melted mozzarella and fresh basil.

- •tomato passata
- •garlic minced
- •fresh mozzarella cheese shredded
- •fresh basil leaves
- •extra virgin olive oil
- •Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- 1Sauté minced garlic in olive oil in a pan, add tomato passata, and simmer for 10 minutes.
- 2Boil gnocchi in salted water until they float to the surface (about 2 minutes), then drain.
- 3Toss gnocchi with the tomato sauce and fresh basil.
- 4Transfer to an oven-safe dish, cover with mozzarella and Parmesan.
- 5Bake or broil at 400°F (200°C) for 5-7 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbling.
