Garlic Naan Bread
Soft, pillowy Indian flatbread brushed with melted butter and topped with minced garlic and cilantro.

Ingredients

- •active dry yeast
- •sugar
- •warm water
- •plain yogurt
- •minced garlic
- •melted butter
- •fresh cilantro
Instructions
- 1Combine yeast, warm water, and sugar. Let stand until foamy, then stir in yogurt, flour, and salt to knead into a smooth dough.
- 2Let rise for 1 hour until doubled in size. Divide into balls and roll into flat ovals.
- 3Sauté minced garlic in butter and set aside.
- 4Cook naan on a screaming hot cast-iron skillet for 1-2 minutes until bubbles form, then flip to cook the other side.
- 5Brush immediately with garlic butter and sprinkle with fresh cilantro.
