Fresh Guacamole & Chips

Creamy Hass avocados gently crushed in a molcajete with fresh lime, rinsed white onions, tomatoes, serrano peppers, and fresh cilantro.

  • ripe Hass avocados
  • fresh lime juice
  • white onion finely diced and rinsed in cold water
  • Roma tomato seeded and diced
  • Serrano or jalapeño pepper finely minced
  • fresh cilantro leaves chopped
  • sea salt
  • crispy warm corn tortilla chips

Instructions

  1. 1Mince the white onion, serrano pepper, cilantro, and salt together in a bowl or molcajete to release the flavorful paste.
  2. 2Cut avocados, discard pits, scoop out the flesh and add to the bowl.
  3. 3Gently mash using a fork or pestle, keeping the texture chunky rather than pureed.
  4. 4Gently fold in the lime juice and diced Roma tomatoes.
  5. 5Season with sea salt, garnish with cilantro leaves, and serve with hot, freshly fried tortilla chips.
