- •potatoes cut into chips

Instructions
- 1Soak potato chips in water, dry, and fry at 325°F for 5 minutes; drain.
- 2Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and cold beer to make a thick batter.
- 3Dredge cod fillets in dry flour, dip into the beer batter, and fry in hot oil (375°F/190°C) for 6-8 minutes until golden.
- 4Fry the potato chips a second time at 375°F for 3 minutes until crispy.
