Egg Drop Soup

A warm, comforting soup with wispy beaten eggs in a seasoned chicken broth.

Ingredients

Provided

  • chicken broth
  • eggs beaten
  • cornstarch
  • sesame oil
  • white pepper
  • green onions sliced

Instructions

  1. 1Bring chicken broth to a boil in a pot.
  2. 2Stir cornstarch with a splash of water, pour into the broth, and stir until thickened.
  3. 3Drizzle beaten eggs slowly into the soup while stirring gently in one direction to make egg ribbons.
  4. 4Turn off heat, add sesame oil and white pepper. Garnish with green onions.
