- •milk
- •nutmeg
Instructions
- 1Melt butter, stir in flour, and whisk in milk until a thick Béchamel forms. Season with nutmeg.
- 2Spread butter on bread slices and griddle until toasted on one side.
- 3Assemble sandwich with ham, cheese, and a spread of Béchamel inside.
- 4Top sandwich with more Béchamel and Gruyere cheese.
- 5Broil in the oven for 5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbling.
