Crepes Suzette

Thin crepes served with a hot sauce of caramelized sugar, orange juice, and orange liqueur.

Ingredients

Provided

  • crepes cooked
  • sugar
  • unsalted butter
  • orange juice fresh
  • Grand Marnier (orange liqueur)
  • orange zest

Instructions

  1. 1Melt sugar in a large pan until it turns golden caramel, then stir in butter and orange juice.
  2. 2Fold crepes into triangles and place inside the simmering orange sauce.
  3. 3Pour orange liqueur over the crepes and light with a match (flambé) to burn off alcohol.
  4. 4Garnish with orange zest and serve hot.
