Classic French Quiche Lorraine

Instructions
- 1Fit pie crust into a tart pan, poke holes with a fork, and bake at 375°F for 10 minutes.
- 2Sauté bacon lardons in a pan until crispy, then drain.
- 3Whisk eggs, heavy cream, milk, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
- 4Scatter bacon and Gruyere cheese at the bottom of the pre-baked pie crust.
- 5Pour egg mixture over the top and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes until set.
