Cantonese Egg Tarts

- •hot water
- •evaporated milk
- •vanilla extract
Instructions
- 1Cut puff pastry into circles and press into tart molds.
- 2Whisk hot water and sugar until dissolved, then cool.
- 3Whisk eggs, evaporated milk, vanilla, and sugar water together.
- 4Strain egg mixture and pour into the pastry shells.
- 5Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes until custard is set.
