Bulgogi (Marinated Beef)

Thinly sliced ribeye marinated in sweet soy sauce, sesame oil, and grated pear, cooked quickly over high heat.

Ingredients

  • ribeye steak sliced paper-thin
  • soy sauce
  • brown sugar
  • grated asian pear (for tenderness)
  • garlic minced
  • sesame oil
  • green onions

Instructions

  1. 1Mix soy sauce, sugar, grated pear, garlic, and sesame oil to make a marinade.
  2. 2Toss thin-sliced beef in the marinade and sit for 30 minutes.
  3. 3Heat a skillet or griddle until smoking hot.
  4. 4Stir-fry beef strips on high heat in batches for 2-3 minutes until browned and caramelized.
  5. 5Garnish with green onions and serve with lettuce wraps.
