Beef Gyudon (Rice Bowl)
Thinly sliced beef and sweet onions simmered in a savory dashi-soy broth, served over rice.

- •onion sliced
- •dashi stock
- •soy sauce
- •mirin
- •sake
- •sugar
- •steamed rice
- •pickled red ginger
Instructions
- 1Bring dashi stock, soy sauce, mirin, sake, and sugar to a boil in a pan.
- 2Add sliced onions and simmer for 5 minutes until soft.
- 3Add thinly sliced beef and simmer for 5-6 minutes until beef is cooked through.
- 4Ladle beef, onions, and broth over a bowl of hot steamed rice.
- 5Garnish with pickled red ginger and sliced green onions.
