Beef Empanadas
Flaky pastry turnovers stuffed with a spiced ground beef, hard-boiled eggs, and olive filling.

- •empanada dough discs
- •ground beef
- •onion chopped
- •green olives chopped
- •hard-boiled egg chopped
- •cumin and paprika
- •egg wash
Instructions
- 1Sauté ground beef and onions with cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- 2Stir in chopped green olives and hard-boiled eggs; cool.
- 3Place a spoonful of filling on each dough disc.
- 4Fold in half to make crescents and crimp edges with a fork.
- 5Brush with egg wash and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes until golden.
