Baked Kibbeh
Layered ground beef and bulgur wheat spiced pie baked with pine nuts.

- •bulgur wheat soaked
- •onion minced
- •allspice
- •pine nuts toasted
- •olive oil
Instructions
- 1Knead half the beef, bulgur, onion, and spices to make a smooth paste.
- 2Sauté remaining beef with onions and toasted pine nuts.
- 3Press half the bulgur-beef paste into a greased baking pan.
- 4Layer the cooked beef/pine nuts, then top with the remaining bulgur-beef paste.
- 5Score into diamond shapes, drizzle with olive oil, and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 30 minutes.
