Affogato

A simple Italian dessert consisting of a scoop of vanilla gelato drowned in a shot of hot espresso.

Ingredients

  • •freshly brewed hot espresso shot
  • •amaretti cookie crushed
  • •dark chocolate grated

Instructions

  1. 1Place one large scoop of premium vanilla gelato in a chilled serving glass.
  2. 2Brew a fresh, hot double shot of espresso.
  3. 3Pour the hot espresso directly over the vanilla gelato.
  4. 4Garnish with grated dark chocolate and a crushed amaretti cookie. Serve immediately.
