Affogato
A simple Italian dessert consisting of a scoop of vanilla gelato drowned in a shot of hot espresso.

- •vanilla gelato or ice cream
- •freshly brewed hot espresso shot
- •amaretti cookie crushed
- •dark chocolate grated
Instructions
- 1Place one large scoop of premium vanilla gelato in a chilled serving glass.
- 2Brew a fresh, hot double shot of espresso.
- 3Pour the hot espresso directly over the vanilla gelato.
- 4Garnish with grated dark chocolate and a crushed amaretti cookie. Serve immediately.
